Biggest pump upgrade on Remora?

Hi, all. I have a Remora that is pulling a fair amount of crud out of the water. I've heard several people putting bigger pumps, e.g. Mag Drive 3's on this skimmer with good success.

Two questions:

1) What other pumps work with this skimmer, that move more water than the MJ-1200?

2) Any special mods you have to do in order to attach them to the skimmer?

Thanks,
Dan

P.S. I know I should get an Octopus or Rogue. If you want to buy me one I'd be happy to give you my shipping address

I have used a Mag3 on an Urchin with decent success. The Mag5 was a bit too much for it though.

Jack, I thought the Mag pumps have threaded connectors -- anything tricky about getting them attached to the Remora?

Thanks,
Dan

Threaded barb fitting, easy as that. Slip the hose on and use a plastic clamp to secure.
