what are these on my sump walls

i was going to post a pic but i forgot how-any way they're little whie wormy things-1/4-1/2 inch.they are all over the sump walls-below the water line-they've been there awhile-not in the tank-just the sump.ive been told they were pods?if they are-ive just gotten a mandarin which eats those pretty much exclusively-althugh i have lots of mature live rock im not sure of my pod population in the tank-can i scrape some off and put them in the tank for food and maybe breed- by the way i dont have a refugium.-just the hang on box where the hose is attached and they're in there too

They are not pods. Pods are mobile inverts. Sounds like Spirorbid Worms. http://www.melevsreef.com/id/spirorbid_worms.html
