Just got back from the State Championship in baseball....

we lost

We were up like 6-3 for the first 5 innings, then when they got up in the 5th, they pulled out 9 runs. We totally lost hope in the last 2 and only was able to pull out 1, losing 7-12.

But hey.... 2nd place isn't bad when you are 30 wins and 3 loses

Uhm they sort of explored. I had this thing called a "plika" (dont know how to spell it) which is basically from what I understand a fibrous ridge in the membrane that encompasses your knee...it's one of those things that not everybody has (it's supposed to dissolve before you're born and then seperate the front of your knee from the back or something) and like your appendix, you can live with it until it gives you a problem. When I fell at the gym back in October I irritated it big time and it's been causing multiple problems with the rest of my knee. I went through rest, therapy and cortizone treatment to bring the inflamation back down but it didn't work, so they went in surgically to remove it and stitch things back up nicely.

After they did that they basically just cleaned up my knee. Pretty much routine procedure, nothing too scary.

I should be off my crutches by the end of this week, and back in the gym the first week of July, with intensive therapy and whatnot. I think the stitches come out in a week or so.

The worst part is my tank is in the basement and it takes 2 flights of stairs from my bedroom up here to get to it.

I haven't seen it in days!

I've been distracted...finals this week, so close to the end..Seniors '07 has a nice ring to it.

Your surgery sounds kind of like mine...they went in with the arthroscope, shaved everything down, pushed my bone chip back in, and drilled holes in my kneecap. Neat

I had so much fun at my prom and matts prom. Those are really nice pics guys! I'm very excited to not only be a senior, but now i can say this time next year im done with high school

Nice snake! They are a no go in my house. Something my mother just won't allow. However, I have had lots of others. Dogs, Birds, Hamsters, FISH, Rabbits, Turtles, Lizards.

So you know the moms that everyone is afraid of, small/petite but fiery as anything? The ones sending emails, KNOWS EVERTHING EVEN THE GOSSIP at School? That's my mom! I LOVE her. Her nick name that the swim team lovingly gave her was MAMA WEIDO ( WEED O)

AND no one dares mess with her! She's the best mom in the gulf, I wouldnt trade her....not even for a 1000gall tank with all the trimmings.

I see a few of you have jobs at LFS! I wish there was one close to me, but the best ones around cost a 30minute drive/freeways galore, and with my tight schedule, I can't do that. I looked at petco...appaled with their aquatics, so I'm stuck teaching swim lessons to little kids.

Yeah can you see i'm bored? :P

We are going to Captiva and Sanibel island, they are a couple hours from Tampa and well known for the wonderful beaches

The last time I was there, I was in 6th grade so it has been almost 6 years!

Have fun is disney, I have never been there but I'm sure that you will have a blast

You guys have some cool trips ahead, I'm going to Newport RI, Cape Cod a few times, probably the city a few times, definitely going around looking at colleges, and MAYBE a cruise to Bermuda..not sure. Regardless...are you guys watching the World Cup?
