Well, I think I'm going to be a meanie and leave Singe here for Thanksgiving. I'm going home tomorrow and coming back on Sunday. My neighbors will be here, and they'll take care of my tank and Singe. They like to watch my TV since it's bigger than theirs, so they come down and chill and visit the cat. I just want to focus on Mocha when I get home. She is doing somewhat better, but still not as good as we'd hope.

My evil siamese used to shred stuff when I left her alone for too long. I hope your evil siamese doesn't do the same

Well, fortunately, when I was in the hospital and nursing home for 3 weeks this summer, Singe didn't destroy anything in my absence. He did have my neighbors check in on him and spend time with him, so I think he'll be ok this time too. I just got the "silent" treatment when I came back, he ignored me for a couple of days, then he became really needy. Who needs a boyfriend? I got a cat.

Yeah, Debi, I was thinking about that today. But when the time comes, I can let her go because I don't want her to suffer. I'll be sad for a bit, but I've lost so much family in recent years to cancer that it helps keep things in perspective. Still, it's funny how we all become saps over an animal.

Thanks Adrienne. Fortunately, she is doing a little better, just not as well as we'd hoped. So, I don't think anything sad will happen in the near future, we just know it's on the horizon.

Glad Singe probably won't destroy your house.

Well they are so true to you, not like people, you can't help but be heartbroken when it's their time.

So true, Debi.

I don't know, Singe has his eyes on my Christmas tree, and it is in *HIS* spot. I might have one of those upside down trees by the time I get home. lol

No way Debi, I hate that tacky stuff.

I just have lights, beaded garland, hand-made beaded ornaments, and some glass balls. Oh, and I have an angel on top--kinda looks like she has a tree sticking out of her butt. All the colors coordinate with the angel.

Sure they do, someone told you that right? I used to have the most beautiful hand painted bulbs from Sweden. When I stopped doing Christmas I gave them away with the rest of my stuff.

LMAO....well, debi, I went with gold, red and silver....kinda hard to confuse those colors, even to my color-blind eyes.

My big tree that I'm not putting up is all hand-blown bulbs and ornaments. I love that tree, I even put baby's breath and roses in it. It's my testament to gayness, hehe.

Y'all have a great turkey day now!

Debi, you would be sooo proud of me.

Tonight I made a pumpkin pie and a pecan pie. I also made gingered cranberry sauce for my mother-in-law...... she specifically asked me to make it for her. I didn't think she liked it last year and she told me she loved it and asked if I remembered the recipe.

We are dieting, so made everything from recipes from Cooking Light and then used Splenda on top of it. Tomorrow night, I am making Coconut Cream pie.

This is the only chance I really get to bake and try it out on the family so I always make the pecan and pumpkin pies and then try one new one.

So what are you making, Chef Debi??

Good job Terry! We're deep frying 2 12lb turkeys, 2 pumpkin pies, fruit salad, lime jello, mashed potatoes and gravy, stuffing, yams, wheat rolls, olives, cream cheese celery sticks, corn, and salad. Anybody want to come? It's just Dan and I!

LOL, of course. Leftovers first night, sandwiches the next. Then enchiladas, either turkey noodle soup or enchiladas!

LOL, coat it in batter like mars bars? You've never seen my jello, I use knox with it, doesn't even need refridgeration, I probably could fry it!
