Yeah, the greedy thing won't split--it just keeps growing more mouths. I even sliced it completely in half with a razor blade once...it just grew back together.

so if a mushroom pinches, are they splitting? mine almost look like a 8 shape, and at the part where it curve's in torward the mouth it arches-up like how some open brains do. Do you think they're splitting?

I got a pair of Skunks today. They are hiding in the rocks still, but came out tonight a little when I fed mysis. Didn't see them eat any, but at least they showed interest.

i think i start on like the 17th, but i was like the last out of school for summer, so you guys cant be jealous. my nitrates were like 25 ppm when i checked ! but thats down from over 50 ppm last night ! i just hadn't emptied my skimmate in too long. hopefully by later today it should be very low. i am doing another water change, and if the skimmer pulled out more than 25 ppm just overnight, it will most likely pull out more. i am definitely waiting, though, until its below 10 to put the clowns in. then ill do water changes every day this week and bring it down to 0 ppm. i am going to start dosing kalkwasser, strontium, and iodine through my auto-topoff. by next week it should be ready for the first frags. im just going to put in a few monti caps first, and make sure they do okay. then put some nice acros
