Purigen loose in tank ...

So I tried using some purigen in my phosban reactor and much of it escaped into my sump and some even got pumped into the main display. Anyone have any thoughts on what the likely consequences will be (long term) for my tank?

Eh, it happened in my tank. I was super-****ed, so I called seachem and talked with someone who said that it would be fine, the worst that could happen is a fish eats it by accident. Since I was ****ed because the bag had a hole in it that I didn't notice, straight out of the box, they compensated me a little bit, which made it feel a little bit less bad about the whole thing.

I agree that such media is fine after it settles out somewhere.
