Where to Buy Salt Online?

Just trying to get an idea where most folks are buying their salt online? Any vendors better than others based on price of product and shipping costs?

www.drsfosterandsmith.com

I ordered 10 buckets and shipping was some stupid low less than $20 flat rate. Poor delivery guy.

The buckets were on sale for $30 per 160 gallons.

I get mine from premium aquatics, but I pick it up. Shipping is what gets ya. I drive 60 miles to Indianapolis, because my LFS charges $20 for instant ocean, and PA only charges like $11. I use Oceanic salt now $50 for 250g bucket at PA. I would find the closest serious marine aquarium store, and buy it there.

Is that a 200G bucket? When did they start making 250G buckets. They better not have destroyed the old buckets....... they have the best handles and are slightly larger making them the best overall bucket IMO.

Fostersmith is the cheapest around. Order over $100 and use coupon code 3658566 for an extra $10 off. Shipping is almost free with that coupon. No tax as well. I ordered four buckets of salt and used the coupon. You can order other drygoods and use that $10 off $100 coupon

I think you meant 200g bucket

What drive 60 miles and pay $$$ for gas when you can get it for the SAME PRICE SHIPPED from Fostersmith? Order more and use the coupon and it will come out less!

fostersmith is the way to go, they recently had instant ocean for $29, and reef crystals for $33 for the 160 gal buckets, add in the coupon and you cant beat it. plus shipping is next to nothing, in addition to this the bucket is delivered to my door, and I dont have to lug it around

My Fedex tracking says "Saint Paul, MN"

Shipping is a flat rate on amount purchased regardless which State you live unless you are rush shipping.

I say foster smith too. 30 bucks for reef crystals 160g bucket cant beat that. I didnt know about the coupon though, so thanks. I know they are in Rhinelander WI but the last time I ordered salt the ticket said ST. Paul MN so maybe they have a wharehouse there. Does anyone know if thats where aquarium systems is located? could be drop shipped directly?

But its costs $56 in shipping for me for 3 buckets of salt. If you live close by then its worth it. Fostersmith is $10 shipping for 3 bucket of salt.

Drs. Foster Smith, I don't think there is a better Online vender around to obtain salt from. Cheap shipping, great selection and top notch customer service.

I order 5 bucket of 160 gallons reef crystal from thatpetplace.com for $25.51 each with the coupon. The shipping to Cambridge, MA is only 37 for all 5 buckets.

That works out to $32.91 each with shipping.

Still a little cheaper at Fostersmith though. 5 x $31.99 + $13.99 shipping minus -$10.00 coupon = $32.78 each. Thats shipped anywhere in the US
