Can Saltwater go bad?

we mixed up a batch of salt water, currently have a powerhead in it how long will the water last if just sitting in a rubbermaid bucket without the powerhead?

I would definatly put a power head in it. I wouldn't let it sit more than 4-5 days w/out circulation.

I have a 30 gal rubbermade trash can w/a maxjet1200 that always has at least 28 gals of mixed saltwater on hand. As long as there is no mold growing on sides of container its a pretty safe indefinatly.
