rounding edge on cut glass
Id like to reinforce the holes Im drilling in my tank by adding glass and then drilling thru both pieces. My question is how to round the edges on the glass Im adding. Thanks.

a sanding wheel on an angle grinder works really well too.

Not sure if this was suggested but i think sand paper should work. Although i would wait for more useless posts.....

no need to be so cynical, people are just trying to help. it's not a bad thing to see all the options, even if the cheapest easiest method was already mentioned.

thanks to ALL the responses....Ill start cheap and work my way up the ladder.....if it does not work. which Im sure it wont....I may as well just buy a new tank..... ; ) !!

if you wont them real smooth and rounded use a bench grinder whith a fine stone wheel or a belt sander

thanks richie....I have both and will experiment with the less aggressive sander and then if it is real slow go to the grinder.

use a diamond knife sharpening stone. Works wonders. ($5 at Walmart)

Try a stained glass shop for a grinding bit. Works great.

In our shop we used what is called a wet belt sander...Its just a huge belt sander with water...You can use a regular belt sander...Use the water proof sanding belts and take a spray bottle to keep it wet...
