Don't give up on Grade B Aussie Acans

This is a picture of a Grade B Aussie Acan right after I got it in May.

I kept a piece of it under very low light. It was practically under a ledge in full shade.

Here is the piece that I kept in the shade after a month.

You can see in the bottom of the piece where it was cut that the half polyps have made full polyps now, but the color on the new halves have green in them.

I put the other piece under brighter lighting. A single 400w 12K Reeflux, in a shallow 10" tank.

Here it is in early June.

And here it is in late June.

* Disclaimer *
I gradually increased the coral to brighter light.
