Well, you could start here!

Reefkeeping mag

I think a fu manchu in a 20 FOWLR would be ok, but I think a 29 would be better, as far as maintaining stable water quality and possibly allowing addition of a tankmate or two later...

I currently have a 6+ inch toadfish in a 20L and it is doing fine.

Fu manchu's are excellent little lions. i wouldnt order one online though they dont ship to well, my advice would be to get one from a lfs and watch it at their store for a weeek or so. it took my dad and i 2 fu manchu's before we gopt a healthy one

Orange toadfish, I think it is Opsanus beta. Paid too much for it from Dr. Mac's but it's worth it, great fish. I'll see if I can find a link to my ACTUAL fish as it was when advertised online. (I think www.fishsupply.com lifted that pic for their site, so if you look up toadfish there, you will see mine.)

I can't find the exact fish on google image search, but here is one that looks a bit like it, accompanied by an article.

I was just curious because I had the same kind. He died a couple of weeks ago. I didn't realize at the time but I had a racoon butterfly that picked at him. He was an awesome fish though.

I figured other people were keeping them but I have never seen one other than mine.

If you also do a google search you will come up with all sorts of hits. I just got a fuzzy dwarf lionfish and what personality. I took the time to make sure that one of our LFS here got me one from their supplier that was feeding them frozen foods already. The second day mine was waiting for its food. They are so cute and sure know you in a short while.

I have had mine for a week now and it eats krill, brineshrimp, mysis shrimp.

I have read the main thing everyone complaines about is switching them over to frozen. Glad I did not have to deal with this but I am sure there are many here who have that will help yu along.

My lion is in my 25 gal.

i believe fu manchus are the hardest dwarf lions to switch to frozen. they sometimes never take. you might want to make sure you can get a good supply of salt water feeder fish or ghost shrimp before you get a fu.

IME fuzzies are easiest to convert, followed by zebras, then fu manchus (as distinctly difficult)
