Question T5 on 3ft. deep tank?

I am setting up a 210g that will be about 3ft deep. Are t5s with individual reflectors powerful enough to penetrate that deep?

I did some research and took the plunge a couple of weeks ago. I've also had an all T5 system before my MH+T5 so i was quite confident that it would be ok. I'm quite happy with the change. I believe if you look at the TOTM two months ago, it is an all T5 setup on a tank that is pretty deep.

i think if you overdrive them on icecaps you'll be able to grow sps at least 2 feet down. they are very bright.

Twon-So are you saying in order to care for sps, I must overdrive the bulbs to penetrate 24" down?
