skimmer in nano

i an settting up a 20 gal nano and was wondering if i needed a skimmer. i will have corals. right now im leaning towards getting a skimmer.

There is NO correct answer to this and responses will be split down the middle. If you are consistent with 10% weekly water changes, you should be fine without one. If you have disposable income and want to invest in one, it certainly is not going to hurt anything. This is always a hotly debated question. SH

just do water changes and you should be fine if you dont over stock a little tank

Current USA is comming out with the "Fission" skimmer. For there 24g Aquapod. For the price you cant pass it buy. I also found a video of the skimmer in action. Looks like a good deal. O yeah the price in somewhere around 30.00

dont get the seaclone its a piece of junk, though there are mods that can make it alot better

dont anger the seaclone gods, for they will make the skimmer work less...

In a 20? Should be OK. See what I told you. The skimming question is always hotly debated. People have kept nanos for months/years without skimming. The key is good water husbandry. With larger nanos, like a 30G, I think skimmers make more sense. SH
