Any one have a pic of the Dales Purple unknown

I have a frag of this and wanted to see if anyone else has it also.?I wanted to see how theirs has colored up. If you got pics post them please.

SandDollar also use to have this acro. Rich you still got your pic of the Dales Purple unknown ?

I don't have a good pic of mine. But I did ask Rich for a pic of his that he used to have.

Curt, thanks got the pic. Yes it is a sweet one. Hope SandDollar don't mind, But this is his pic of the Dales unknown.

Yes, I always wonder how many folks have this acro to.It was very hard to get at one time as we both know.My branches aren't as dense as his photo.But mine get's blasted with a lot of flow,where it's branches spread out in all directions.Where his seems to grow very up right in growth.Mmmmmm

Curt,

Thats why I posted to see if any others may have this acro and to see how theirs has colored up and the growth they are getting from it.

Mine is low in the tank and it's a much darker color than SandDollars. And has the same growth as yours. I'll move it up and see how it colors up.

Mine is still doing good but it has lost some of its color do to the upgrade to the 600 gallon tank.

no its not a tenuis, not even close if you look at the colonys side by side.

I would say back in those days,when we had those Bali corals were around.That's probably when this baby showed up on the scene.We don't see acros like that amymore.

Dale Wiley said he got this piece about 4 years ago. It was a Bali piece that he got from a LFS. He then gave half the colony to Sanddollar as keeper piece. It lightens up in high light and gets a more intense purple in low light.

Kurplunk Thanks for the info, I plan to move mine up and see if it gets lighter in color. Do you have a frag of it to post a pic?
