Trying out the new camera

I took a couple pics of my mandrian. This one turned out the best.
So thought I'd share. I've had him for 5 yrs or so.

Nice macro shot. What camera are you using?

I love the 40D. Awesome camera.

I was also using a Canon 100mm macro lens. I don't recall the settings, just experimenting. My husband did the settings.

beautiful shot.
I plan to add a mandarin to my tank, but I'm going to wait until next spring. That way my tank will have been established for well over a year & I'll feel more comfortable about supporting a mandarin.

phunckie Thanks!

I agree with your plan, my tank was over 1 yr old when I added the mandrian. It's very important they have pods to survive in case you can't get them to eat mysis or frozen brine.

I have plenty of liverock and lots of pods in my tank, not to mention a fuge with TONS of pods, but I just want to be sure that I'm ready for it.
