MH 175W Question
Those using 175 MH's. What bulb are most of you using? I'm running 10K Hamiltons. Thinking of changing to 14K.

I use the XM 20K. Decent growth (I've gotten 1/2" from my Blue Tort in 2 weeks in a mixed reef). Really blue color.
I'm thinking of going to XM 10K, but that means I have to buy another actinic.

I have XM 10k and as long as you have attinics it looks good.. Or at least I like em.

i use 2x175w XM 15k bulbs on my 50g. i love the color all the corals give off. and i get so-so sps growth (pretty decent IMO) but have never run 10k's so I don't know what I'm missing as far as growth. i would never change mine to 10k and lose the color though. my zoos absolutely love the 15k's and grow like crazy.
not sure if i'd go with the 15k's on a 75g though. might not be enough. but i guess it depends on what you are keeping....mostly softie tank it would be perfect. mostly sps and i'd go with the 10k's.

I have 2 175w 20k's and im planning to change it to 14k and run with attinics too.
