hows my water?
ph is 8.4
nitrite-.50 nitrate-20 ammonia- between .25-.50.... tank is 180 with 100 pounds live rock... __________________ just added live rock maybe 2 weeks ago.... new tank... so this is cycle time.

Wait until the nitrite is 0, at that point the amm will most likey be 0 and the nitrate can go through the roof for all you care, the ph will be cool most likely between 8.0-8.6, it is more of the sudden change that causes the problems with the livestock. Don't do the water change until then and that too will correct the ph back towards 8.2.
