Need to kill annoying palys

Happy holidays to all !!

What other ways is there to rid of palys. I have used kalk paste with hot RO water. Joe juices. But they seems to keep coming back. Is there anything else i can use without killing everything in my reef tank.

Thanks in advance !

ask around your local hobbyists and vendors to see if any are suffering from zoanthid nudibranch infestation. That would only work if you are planning on eradicating all palythoas and zoanthids in your tank however.

I have other rare and expensive zoas in my tank. That would be suicide.

You could try burying them in epoxy, that sometimes works for other pests.

A sure bet, but a lot more work, would be to remove the rock and chisel them off - leave a thin layer of rock under the polyps so there's no tissue remaining in your tank. You can then superglue/epoxy the underside of the paly frag to another rock (or chisel it into pieces and attach to rubble or frag plugs) and trade them in for credit, or give them away to people you don't like

If you do frag them, be sure to wear gloves and eye protection.
