If I use 12K Reeflux 250 DE can I do w/o VHO Actinics

I would like to get LA III DE mini reflectors, and that alone would make it a tight fit in my 90G AGA hood. I have read a lot of good things about the Coralvue Reeflux bulbs, even though the majority of the articles were for the 400W Mogul base. I am assuming the DEs will work comparably. I was thinking of 400W bulbs but that would really tax the chiller in the summer time. Currently I am running the Coralife Aqua PRO HQI 2X250 system and the reflectors are just to small for the SPS tank (9x5 in).

I tried a SE bulb cause i have no room for Atinics i did not like it at all. Just too white for my taste
