Arrow Golden Crois Wrasse

hi eveyone.

in my 50g reef tank i currently have 2 ocellaris clown fish, 1 scopas tang, 1 fridiman psudochromis and 1 sixline wrasse. I have a 20g refugium which always keeps the nitrates at 0, I really like the fuge.

I want to get one more fish, and I want a golden coris wrasse. This fish has many names but this is the most suitable I can find. I was just wondering if this fish would be suitable for my tank.

thankyou in advance for any help

I have a similar setup. I wanted a Yellow Tang, but of course a 55 just isn't big enough. My pair of coris wrasse are my alternative "splash" of yellow. I think you'll enjoy this lovely fish. I do.

They are great little splashes of yellow and are fun to watch. Probably my favorite yellow fish

IME, your six line will have a problem with another wrasse in there and the psuedo probably won't be happy with him either.

agreed with the above post.. 6-line and pseudos are bullies. You could try it, but have an alternative ready in case the bulliness gets to bad.

I have an "Orchid Dottyback" Pseudochromis fridmani in a 54g with the pair Coris wrasse. Fortunately no turf wars. As recommended, use your best judement with the six-line.

I have a yellow coris in my 125 with a six line, no problem. However, my Pseudo does chase the yellow coris out of his/her territory regularly buut leaves the six line alone. who knows?

i have one in my 40 breeder. beautiful fish, and like everyone said, it adds a nice splash of yellow. Mine has tried to jump several times (mostly when i first got it), but my canopy kept it in. I have it with a carpenters fairy wrasse and a GSM, everyone gets along. Sometimes the yellow coris wrasse darts into the sand to sleep or hide at night and sometimes i even see him seemingly sleeping with the carpenters fairy wrasse.
