i've always wanted a tube anemone and i got one for my ten gallon nano and it died after like two days i was wondering if my peppermint shrimp ate it because there was nothing left of it just the casing.

I don't think your shrimp ate it...in fact I suspect mine of actually eating one of my shrimp.

Mine almost always retracts into the sandbed during the day, leaving only a bit of the tube casing visible. It then opens up around dusk for feeding time.

In my tank the anemone went in early. I had most of the frags on the sand while the anemone roamed around on the rock. He settled in about 3 days and then I started moving the frags on to the reef.
