I got these fish when they were around an inch in length. Here is a shot of the male when he was a baby:

Interruptus? what is the common name? I'm a big fan of gobies, jaws, and blennies. They always check me out while I am checking them out. Same goes for the hawks~!

I don't know if I've seen a fish that "pops out" in color more vividly than a really healthy male Squarespot anthias. Carmabi basslet maybe, but those are impossible to find.

It's the same fish, Dots. Centropyge Interrupta aka Interruptus, aka Japanese angelfish.

Thanks guy's...
I did some research after I saw the pic and found some similiar photo's but none of them posted a common name. I sure hope you didn't pay $3200 for your pair!

Very Impressive fish Maximus.
What happened to them? |

I sold them when I took down my last tank. I tried to contact the person who bought them, just in case he wants to sell them back to me. No response from him.

Sang,
To bad I didn't end up with your gorgeous pair...I would have sold them back to you . Of course that is easy to say, maybe harder to do in reality, lol. Mark, the helfrichi firefish pair I have are so cool...always hanging in the water column like they are suspended from a string...always out and about. So many to choose from, huh??

Hi Alicia,
Helfrichi's are awesome. Too bad my tank is totally open though as they are jumpers. I am in need of some suggestions for my next fish as well. I am leaning toward a tang or a dwarf angel. What do you guys and gals think?

I've been looking for a sm black tang off and on for 6 months. Smaller = $$$$

Yeah, small black tangs cost a lot more than the larger ones. I think the last time I was pricing them, I found a few that were in the $200-$300 range. Not sure how much they are now.

The last time I checked, a sm one was $400ish. I could probably get one cheaper, but I like a 14 day guarentee

I love that Golden Blenny as well.
I have a Love/Hate relationship with the "Diver Den" - Love the fish I see in there/ Hate the fact that after a couple of cocktails I can be a mouse click away from an expensive "fish-in-a-box" on the way to my house! At least they have a 14 day guarantee. I've had some close calls on the amazing Blue Spot Jaws they get in. I never see those around here w/ color like that!
