Where do I install the membrane flush valve on my RO unit?

Barb - install a flush valve so that it provides water a route to bypass the flow restrictor. Do you know where the flow restrictor is?

Here's a pic of mine.
The restrictor is going through the middle, with the silver knob on it. Yours is probably different, but same idea. The flush valve is the one with the blue knob. Notice how it arcs around the restrictor. When it's off, water goes through the restrictor. When it's on, water goes through the flush valve and not through the restrictor. That's the general idea. The flush valve allows all the water to go to waste and washes off the membrane. HTH, --Colin |
