Coral question

Hi.

A quick question. Are candy cane and trumpets the same coral

Candycane Coral = Caulastrea furcata

Trumpet Coral = Caulastrea curvata

They are often used interchangeably, regardless of species, but always referring to Caulastrea.

the two are visually different and although quiet often used interchangeably, they are not one and the same.
