From what I've read, apparently not. The regular "Great Stuff" is polyurethane and non toxic when cured. I used Gorilla Glue to fix two large pieces of (expensive) rock that I dropped and broke ino smaller pieces. Gorilla Glue is essentially the same stuff and it's worked like a charm for me. From everything I've read it's safe.

I never thought of Gorilla Glue , but it makes sense as it needs surfaces damp to work . Will it cure underwater - I'll have to try it .

I'd be afraid of the VOCs from the glue trying it in the water (assuming it would even work). The rock I used it on was dry.

My friends and I use the GEL style crazy glue all the time to glue frags to live rock. It works well, apply the glue out of the water to the base of the coral, place in position and hold for like 10-20 seconds and wala a nice bond that can still be broken my a fair amount of strength.
