I won this piece at a raffle yesterday at Next Wave 2006 in Dallas. The Vendor said it was an Acan but today was told by a pretty experienced aquarist that he didn't think it was an Acan. (But he couldn't ID it either) lol

Nope, it's more orangey with deep reddish marroon centers. They are almost perfectly round.
