my bta started splitting...need help

alright well my nem started splitting the other day probably like 2 days ago and it still hasnt completed the split its has gotten half way but just hasnt finished. should i just cut it, if it hasnt finished the split or should i just let her do her thing and wait it out?

I've seen a large anemone take almost a week, they don't need any help, just let it do what it does naturally.

alright i just didnt know how long the process actually took...i thought it was pretty fast cause it went from over night, to split right through its mouth and just hasnt finished the tear yet. i guess i'll check karens page and see what shes saying thanks garygb

It can take from half-a-day to 5 days or so, from my observations.

I've had some do it in a matter of minutes -- was really cool to watch, and others take a couple of days. In both cases I let nature take its course and it always worked out.

i've also seen it happen in an hour or so. but then again 9 days also
