I've started a very small setup to try and raise them. If I have success with the first couple of hatches I may look into continueing it. So far I have put out about $100.00.

2 10 gallon tanks $20.00
Heater $24.00
Brine Shrimp hatchery $19.00
Starter Phyto $6.99
Phyto nutrients $14.00
Air line package $3.00

All of this stuff I will be able to use as time goes on so not a big deal really.

I will try and keep this thread updated with pics and updates.

Wish me luck. I may need it

I picked up a copy of the book tonight. Looking forward to reading it.

My Phyto culture crashed and has turned yellow. Not really sure what happened there. Will try to start another one on Wednesday night.

The clowns liked the tile, when I got home they were busy at work laying the eggs. Something pretty cool to watch. I counted

Here is a picture of their completed work. After loading it on my computer I counted the eggs that I could see and counted to 135. So their is probably 230+ eggs. I may have to let this batch go until I can get a phyto culture going to start the rotifers. However it might be worth trying a practice run so to speak and if any of them make it all the better.

Thanks for everyone's advice.
