Your Experiences With XM 250 Watt 20 K DE bulbs

I just bought 2 XM 250 wat 20 k de bulbs for my reef and was just wondering if anyone else has them and how do they like them.I have been told they will produce better colors in the corals but they will grow slower,so I am just trying to get some opinnions from people that have used these bulbs before. Thanks

I can only comment on the XM 10k bulbs - they give good PAR but really, really look horribly yellow and w/o actinics to supplement them.

But isn't the color of the corals, is what has drawn us all in to this hobby? We all have small pieces of the ocean so if they grow to fast they will out grow are small pieces of the ocean.Just my opinnion.
