LF Mantis in OC

anyone find any mantis hitch hikers in OC? looking to start a mantis tank, but dotn have 50 bucks for a peacock

i have a AGA, peacocks and chiragra are the glass breakers correct?

The only ones who have broken glass are over 7 inches long. These are 4 inches. A long way to go. Me and friend hve bunch of peacocks, not one broke a tank. ALL tanks were glass. depends on there personality. I'll say 75% of mine were docile. Even the aggressive ones didnt break glass. On note any smasher mantis can crack glass tanks, it is just that peacocks and chiragas are more likely, too. Peacocks are one of the most colorful though... still you can get a better deal than $45 bucks, i talked my LFS down to $15. so keep looking.

Correct, I have a male Gonodactylus Smithii for $20 firm. Paid $30 for him, but really just looking for a good home. I am in Laguna Niguel(92677) but am willing to meet up for the exchange. He is about 2 inches and has molted 3-4 times. Nice colors and is fed a diet of silversides, "pest" crabs from the LFS as well as snails and hermits.
