will this be too much flow???
i have a 55 gal mixed reef. mostly softies but am now getting into lps. 2 1/2" sandbed. will 2 modded mjs be too much flow? i have 2 koralia 3s now and dont get as much movement as i would like. so would about 2400 gph be too much for them? i also get alot of detrius settling on rocks so id like to be able to keep it from settling as much. right now i have a koralia on each end of the tank. one angled at at the front glass and one at the back glass. pretty random movement just not alot. the flow would be really diffuse since it is deflecting off the glass. any help is appreciated. thanks

I have a 90 gallon tank and I can't have 2 MJ mods on at the same time. I have one on one corner and the return from my overflow. it is plenty for the live stock that I have. I have softies, LPS, and zoos. I think you will find it difficult to find the right angle to point them at.

I have a AGA 2x2x4ft 125, I have softies and SPS, I haave 2 #2's on the front sides high angled down, and 2 #1's in back, low, blowing to the front, on a wave maker so the right upper and left lower in back are on for 2 minutes, and vice versa, I found #3;s on the sides wwerw too strong for the softies and shrooms.

If the sand is still on the bottom you haven't got too much flow. If the sand is flying around the tank, you've overdone it.
