ID Please / Question

I think that what you see in the picture is a sea squirt of some sort. Could someone please verify? Sorry about the quality; it's in a spot that's hard to photograph. It's about a half inch in diameter and about three inches long.

My question is this: I have several keyhole limpets in my tank that have not been a bother to anyone. But just now I had to pull one off of this thing in the picture. According to melev's reef the limpets are supposed to be reef safe. Could it have just been eating the algae off the sea squirt (or whatever the thing is)? Thanks.

It does appear to be a squirt, also called a tunicate. The limpets are vegetarian so I doubt it was being eaten. It doesn't look any worse for the wear.

I had to pull rather hard to get the limpet off. The good thing was that I didn't see any pieces of the squirt in the limpet mouth.

Any idea on how big those squirts can grow? It's cool looking.
