Auto Top Off Units

Hello,

I was just wondering if some of you could suggest some auto top off units that are <$100. I just found out I have to go to vegas this weekend, otherwise I would make it myself, but time does not permit. I have seen the JBJ ATO in stores, has anyone used it? Thanks in advance!

I went with a TUNZE OSMOLATOR on my large tank but those are around $170.
I just placed an order for the autotopoff.com double switch unit for my smaller tank. It came to around $65 with the small pump they sell. I did some research and didn't read anything really bad about them.

I've made them as well...worked just the same, that unit i have has two switches, so if the top-up gets low, it wont ruin a pump/start a fire

I have used the JBJ ATO for about 2 years now and never had a problem. I did have to remove the alarm on it that tells you when it's going off. It was too obnoxious. I'm not very handy and it was still easy to do. If I remember right the directions tell you how to do it.

i use a digital timer from walmart and hve the pump come on for x amount of minutes. right now i am evaporating about 5 gallons a day. i use the maxijet to fill the tank up. right now it takes 4 minutes. if you go to lowes you can get a timer that you can program to come on every other day or when ever you want. just a thought and it will be less then 30 bucks depending on what timer you go with,
