Sweet! One of the only "Basic" tools I didn't have.

But aren't these things normally like $100+?

Will this one read as accuratly as a $100 one?

Usually TDS meters to check the quality of your RO or RO/DI water are cheap. If you bought one, it'd be $10 or less. Accuracy is so-so but for our purposes, doesn't really make a difference since we're looking for 0 or close to it. Still, good find!

Who cares its FREE, but really it would be worth it to have something to compare against your $100 TDS Meter or inline meter.

EDIT: beat me to it spleen..

THX

I already had a google checkout account (and so does the wife). So I tried using another email address and cc, and it seems to have worked (we'll see if I actually get the meter)

I know this seems a bit dishonest, but I have $30 in my google adsense account I will never see... so now I will consider myself and google square.

This makes my day! Lets hope they follow through and don't realize that everyone with an aquarium in the U.S. is getting a new TDS meter.
