Do you know what size tank they have it in and did you ask what they feed the dends?

acerr, thanks for the info. If you ever go to the LB Aquarium again, please take some more pictures and post it on here.

If you can post some more pics of your own dends and rhizos.

Here's my first Dendro polyp. I got it from a member of my club. It only stays open during the night for now. I think it's still acclimating to my lighting.

Your picture didn't work for me. Since I quoted it, I was able to put the link in my address bar. Nice picture, your dendro looks good. They don't acclimate to your lights because they like zooxanthanelle so they don't sense light.

Edit: Nvm it works now.

Every thread on RC that has pictures, I can see it. The only one that doesn't show up is Wrench's so something is up.

Can anyone see the pic?

cannot see it, if anyone is looking for a cheap polyp, I think the new sponsor cultivated coral has some for $39 a polyp.

wrench, clicked on it and it says permission forbidden.

the ones from cultivated are dendro coaretata. the big ones that people like are dendro coccinea.

Copy and paste the link into the address bar. Then the pics will work.

I think the dendros from cultivated for 39/polyp are coccineas.

There we go, VERY VERY NICE small dendro.

Viper, I asked cultivated coral and thought he said it was a coaretata. He says the only colony he has left is the coaretata,

I sent cultivated an email about the coaretata. The dendro they have pictured on their website is coccinea, but perhaps he has the other species as well.

I want to find some dendros with white tentacles. The only place I know has them is vivid aquariums and they are expensive though :\

I can't see the pic either. Some nice looking dendros in this post. I'm trying to make my tank look like the ones acerr posted. Anyone know a site that ID the different types of dendrophyllia, balanophyllia? I want to know which ones I currently have. So I can know which ones I want
