Talking My new Bonesreef.com clowns

Some may remeber me posting a few pics of my ORA Picassos a few weeks before Christmas...they never took to food and sadly perished within the first few days of having them. I saw some posts about Bones's clowns and thought I would give them a try. The ones I wanted initially had been sold already so I picked a little guy with a lot of white to him...Brandon suggested him as he was getting more of the white as he grew. I went ahead and purchased him and eagerly awaited my little package after Christmas. When I opened my package, to my surprise, there was a freebie misbar in the bag with the little guy. Brandon wanted him to have a friend in the nursery tank, lol. What a sweetie to add that one in. So now I have two little babies. It has been a week and they are very energetic. I think they are eating, though it is hard to tell what as they spit a lot out. There activity has not diminished a bit and they look great so I suppose they are eating. With my experience previously when the ORA Picassos would not eat I think I am a bit hypervigilant with these guys. I must say they are awfully cute together. I am getting two more to add to the nursery as soon as I can. From the four I will watch and wait to see how they pair and go from there. Here are some pictures.

This one seems like a cross between a Picasso style and a snowflake style...Right side

Thanks Angela, I can't wait to see what they grow into.

oceancube78, I plan on getting a few more soon from Brandon and see what develops over time. I figure they will be fine together for quite a while until they pair up.

Stacie, I was so bummed when the ORA Picassos died. These two babies seemed really hardy and healthy from the get-go. They are about and inch long right now. I watched them both eat actual morsels tonight...finally. I have been worried but I suspected that they were eating. Tonight one took small pellets and the other deifnately took a few pieces of flake food in. I was very happy to see them happily scarfing a few things down.

I like the circle in the middle of its white very nice.

I believe it took my pair from Bonesreef about 3-4 days to really start eating like pigs when I got them.
