Most expensive/favorite coral in your nano.

Just wanting to see some pictures of the most expensive corals you put in your nano tanks. You can post your favorite one too, no matter how much it's worth.

Well alot of my corals were 100.00 flat none over.

Both acans were 100.00 but the teal/greenish one I got for 25.00 because they had it in their tanks for so long it started dying. So thats why it's kinda iffy. It's healing though.

Favites 100.00 and I love their coloring.

The red blasto's in the foreground were 89.99 for 3 heads and the green/red onesin the background were 79.99 for 11 heads. Different LFS's

i dont have any pics of my frogspawn, but it is really cool.

Does any one know if i can feed it a frozen block of brine shrimp that is dropped into a bowl. I would suck it up and squirt it at him.

I think that should work...I haven't fed mine yet (only had it for two days so far). I've read that Mysis is a good thing to feed them.

An entire block would be to much food, take a razor and cut the frozen cube into 4 pieces and feed one of those pieces to the frogspawn at the most.

Mine like fresh shrimp and scallops. I cut them into tiny pieces and guide one or two into the tentacles. My bubble loves them both also

Good info...I think I'll try to feed mine tomorrow.

Interesting fact...that frogspawn is currently not only my favorite, but also the most expensive coral that I have so far...hehe...the Xenia and Zoo's were free

All my corals were $25 or less and includes Frogspawn, PomPom Xenia, Pulsing Xenia, Red Discosoma Mushrooms, Green Ricordia, Blue Ricordia, Orange Ricordia, Asst Zoas, and Clove Polyps. My favorite is a two headed Frogspawn that has just split into two mouths on both heads so hopefully it will have four heads in the near future.

Yeah they were going to sell me a lords frag with about 20 heads on it for 100.00 on monday. Sometimes they give me stellar deals sometimes they jack me. They gave me a monti cap for free a couple weeks ago. Give and take I guess. I'd love to network with some reefers but I only know one other and he works with me.

All of them. The ones I frequent regularly are Tongs in FV, Jeffs in Orange, and Eye Candy in Stanton. Eye Candy is my favorite right now. Great corals and great prices. For instance...and excuse the typo in my post...the 4 (not three) all red blastos from Jeffs were more expensive than the 11 green and red blastos from Eye Candy. The gentleman that I've met at Eye Candy is very personable and knowledgable. I like the fact that the first time I went there he opened up the bottom of his displays tanks to show me how his system is set up and he knows all the scientific and popular names for corals. Tongs is a freaking zoo so you don't really get service but they have so much selection. Jeff's has good service too but their prices and coral selection isn't the best but they give me good deals from time to time because I've been going there since before it opened to the public. So I just check them all out. All IMO of course

Cool. I like Eye Candy also. Have you been to OC Aquatic, Coral Oasis, Seaside or Circle Pets?
