Here is one I bought green with pink mouths and has turned purple-blue. Color isn't quite right here but you get the idea

Here is a shot of my little Miami Hurricane Chalice...I don't know why it is more Steely blue/lt. purple than the greens I have seen out of the mother colony and Greg's other half of the mother colony (Pumpkin Patch Chalice). I have it placed on the bottom of the tank right up front. I wonder if it would like more light??

Alicia mine is also slate blue in color. It's growing very well
but I was hoping it would turn more green. It's kept under T-5's.

My Miami Hurricane looks more like Alex's, I have it under LEDs, towards the bottom (22-24 inches below the light), and a bit shaded. I think they like less light.

Does anyone remember the firefly chalice from ATL? I purchased a large piece when Ming Wei got it in, and after looking at all the miami hurricane chalices and comparing with my "firefly" I think they are about the same. Same green rimmed orange eyes and green to steel blue body. Mine was blue and barely started going green. If so what a deal I paid 60 for 3".

I think reeffarmers sells the Miami hurricane for 185 a frag, and i'm sure it's under an inch.

I don't have a pic of my Miami Huricane, but it has kept the green color. I have it under 250 12K reeflux. It is very low in the tank.

You can't get the Miami Hurricane for years from RF for a few years on the waiting list, unless you win an auction with coralfarmersmarket. I paid 250 for a large sized frag.
