I assure you this is Blue Cespitularia. There is at least one other person that has one just like this in the thread in soft corals. Another person in that thread said that this looks like the stuff from the indo that they were shipping 10 years ago. No special care needed. This has been a really hardy coral for me and really easy to take care of. Here are the pics:

Top down no flash

Top down with flash

Top down w/ flash again

From the front with flash. The new growth (right side) is a lot bluer than the rest. I presume it stress during shipping. The colony is gaining color but not super fast.

Front w/o flash

Here's my favorite one. With flash

This might sound like a dumb question, but when you're talking about the size of the frags, are you talking the length of the piece you'll be cutting off?

I'm interested, but would probably prefer to wait for a piece to heal onto some live rock before shipping. Does the Cespitularia ship better than most Xenia sp.?

Yes, the size not including the polyps. I can attach it to something after I get payment. It has a bad shipping record, so I doubt it's any better then other xenia.

For those who are doubtful that this is true blue xenia or Blue Cespitularia, I can confirm that it is indeed the real thing, I have two rather large colonies of it and it looks spot on in the pic above where the bluish shows...also the top down pic shows nice as well....If you want a rare coral...jump on this...

Sorry guys, I sold all but a small piece of mine. I might have some frags ready in a couple more months.
