I'm auctioning off the rock and I have NOT had any regular planaria in my main tank since 8-12-04. The day before Hurricane Charley when I nuked the tank hard with flatworm exit and killed my powder blue tang as a result of the treatment. More to that story if anyone wants to talk about it at the Xmas party. Haven't had any parasites in over 2 years. Almost 3 years red bug free.

Yes, I'm going to auction off the fish. Top bid takes them but the purple tang is sacred so whoever gets it needs to take care of it.

Hey John, how will you be auctioning the corals off? Here on line or at your house? Also, Fungia........like the round plate corals?

I think this occasion deserves a toast to the loss of another great ORCA member tank. I was just thinking back to some of the really nice tanks our club members had 4, 5, 6 years ago that don't exist any more except in pictures. There are some really nice corals that are gone forever. I got alot of exotic stuff from Joe Wall back when you could count online vendors of live coral on one hand. Ah, times they are a changin'.

Yes, I'll be auctioning off the fish as well. Top bid wins. The purple tang will eat out of your hand. The hippo will eat your hand.

My address is
1761 Goodrich Ave
Winter Park, Fl 32789

Coming from Lakemont it's the third house on left. White and gray house with a burgundy door. Really easy to find and every map program has it correct.

407-740-0487 is my home business line so if you get the machine it will answer as Dried Flowers "R" US. Angie's cell number is 407-310-1685

I have bags from small frags but bring buckets or ice chest for the larger items and live rock. Probably a good idea to bring buckets for the fish.

Everything will be auctioned off but I've had some PMs about frags. On some of the sps if I can frag it and someone just wants a frag I'll do my best to make people happy.

Yes, the fungia are the plate corals. These are from my propagation experiment from a few years ago that went nuts. It's still putting them out.

I'm not leaving the club because we paid our dues for 2 years and I want to get my money's worth. Also, all my good friends in Orlando are in this club. A long time ago I stopped coming for the coral and go for the people.

I'm not saying I'm leaving this hobby for good because I have more crazy ideas that I want to try, but I need a break.

I didn't see any mention about the rock. Let me know if you are planning on doing anything with it.

Thanks.

Yea Nick, I told Matt today that all my friends are in the club.

Sytanek, yes the part of the mother colony I still have is still producing. It started 4 years ago, but I don't know how long it will produce.

Jay, yes I'm auctioning off the rock too and I could hold that for you if we can figure out a way for you to be able to bid. I'll work on that. I also have quite a bit of rock in the outside tank but it's not in great shape and would need work.

In my main tank 50lbs of the rock in there is Fiji rock that's less than 6 months old.

OK - My tank STILL isn't up yet...

Plan A - Because of this, I think that it is only fair to delay this auction for a week.
I'm sure John will make the official announcement to this effect... eh ... ah... John?

Plan B - Who isn't going who could hold some (and split some) coral with me till I'm up in a week?
