You are a man after my own heart! I'm a die hard jetty critter plucker!

I read somewhere that they use warty anemones in the manufacture of antihistamines. Any idea if they aquaculture the anemones or are they harvesting them from the gulf? (since you are in the mariculture business)
I think that there is very limited aquaculture of anemones, but I am really not sure as to the intensity or degree of culture. I know someone whol would know the answer and I will ask him when he finishes teaching class in a few minutes.

Kameron, Congratulations on the baby. I think that is wonderful. Yea, you got plenty on your hands right now. That's better than a fish tank!
I was just trying to be silly before. I'm glad that she also likes the tanks. I look forward to meeting her. Will this be your first child?

You would have had plenty of room in your 180 for the Naso from pet land. That's an awesome sized tank. I thought my 120 was large when I bought it but it seems to get smaller and smaller everyday. A 180 sounds great!

You may be right about the girl thing. Just keep practicing the pouty lip thing so that when you are ready you are prepared.

Cindy-

Yes, this is the first for us. I figure a set of moon lights in the 180 will make a good night light for the next couple of years.

I did think about that naso, but I'm transitioning in between tanks. The 180 will be 6' x 2' x 2'. The only tank I have up right now is the 37 gal. and a 55 that is fixing to become a holding tank (ultimately a sump for the 180). I got rid of my others in preparation for the 180. The 180 is a DIY tank. As soon as I finish the set of cabinets I have going in my shop, I'll get to assemble it and take it in the house and start plumbing BWAH...HA.....HA.

I keep telling my wife that I'm going to teach the baby to use the pouty lip effectively. She says she is going to have a hard time explaining to the child why she has to beat me every time the baby uses it on her!

Hi Bump-

Will add you to my list. We might have enough folks to get something going after all!

Thanks for spreading the word, Cindy!

bump321,
hey, always good to find out when there are more people close! I was in Wet pets last night but Laura wasn't there. I figured I would try to make up a flyer or something and leave it up there to see if she would post it.
Looks like we're getting lots of people !!!!!

Maybe if I try it too my wife will let me set up our spare 10 gallon as a nano and keep our 29 gallon running as a QT in time of need.

Bump, you just might give it a try. It certainly couldn't hurt anything! He's such a softie I don't think you'll have any trouble at all especially if you get him to think that it was his idea.

If you want to Kameron, maybe your sweetie, you and I could meet together and go talk with Dave and Robin at Pet Land. At least I know them and your probably much better at talking than I am. Plus they know what a basket case I've been since I got this tank 5 mos ago due to all of the trouble I had.

What do you think?

Remember Bump, while you practice the lip quiver in the mirror, you can't laugh. I'll be laughing knowing that you are doing it but you can't laugh
