| Reef Blogs |

after browsing many foreign blogs, it seems that it's a great resources in addition to RC to compare and contrast methods and techniques for our hobby. i have finally begun to use our blog and would like to invite others to create one too. they're free and are a great way to journal your progress as well as receive feedback.

if you have a blog, post here with a link to it so we can create an updated list of RC reef blogs!

glassbox

cheers,
eric

Here's mine: http://stonyreef.com/blog

Keep 'em coming... I can only refresh the forums so many times a day. Give me something new to read . I think it's a great way to be able to tank some notes, look back at my tank, check my tank status, post some pics, articles, or whatever I feel like. One of the RC mods has a very well designed reef site (thanks for the php script Carlos!).

These are my two blogs.

http://www.reefcentral.com/wp/index....&submit=Search

I noticed that there are now 41 blogs here on RC, starting here:

http://www.reefcentral.com/wp/?cat=2

Once you learn the WordPress software, you can work your way from tank to tank quite easily.

And of course there is a blog on my own website that has been going for several years.

I just did a search of the blogs and didn't find your username, mokeyz. Were you logged in to that part of the site?

May I suggest: add the topical sites about setups too, not only chronological ones?
You see, many of us have particular interests, and no point to go through many pages of blog for sps tank, when, for example, I'm looking for filtration for non-photosynthetic tank.

At least mark, which blog contains what.

dendro-i'd suggest looking at tags on the blog sidebars...if you dont find any keywords you're looking for it's likely not there. many also have a search function for their individual blog.

with that said, filtration for a non photosynthetic tank should be very similar to a low nutrient SPS system. just because nutrients are low, does not mean that food input cant be high. bacterioplankton reef blogs such as PSam's may be a good place to get tips and ideas.

I think the point of having a blog or log of your tank is to have somewhat of a chronological record of how your tank has progressed.

That said, as Flint&Eric mentioned most blogging software (if used) has category links as well as dated links for quick browsing.
