No, not yet. You must of missed the post where I said I blacked out the black frame area in photoshop. It's coming though! One day!

I was waiting on that BioMatix controller to be fully released so I can integrate like I had in my pics, but Im not sure what's going on with them anymore. Im sticking with black formica so it would match all the other equipment.

Yeah, must've missed it. Can't wait to see your final stand...I'm sure it'll be awesome looking, just like your tank! Your tank is actually what sold me on A.G.E during my decision making process! ... trully awe-inspiring.

Are you referring to the area above or below the tank? If above:

If below, there is about 4-5" of space between the back wall and stand/tank, so any moisture/heat would go up and behind the tank through the opening you see in the pic

Glass is 1/2" thick. Tom does 3/4" for braceless tanks.

3/8" acrylic
18 gallon fuge
6 gallon freshwater reservoir for auto top-off
(2) 1" holes drilled - (1) for return pump, (1) for water changes

What an absolutely gorgeous tank and kitchen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hope you post more progress pictures as you go along. I think the Bay Area has gained another show stopper aquarist.

Yes, I know but I don't have room for any external storage container, as my tank is in the kitchen...this is the best I could do. At least, I'm able to keep my water level constant. Harder to do if I manually top off my sump

Hi, nice tank!

How did they glue the acrylic eurobrace to a glass tank? I've always been told acrylic and glass don't bond together.

Thanks! How they do it is a very common question I get. I asked A.G.E, and they won't reveal their secret, as this is their niche in the custom tank industry.

A.G.E has never had a tank leak on them.

LOL, I'd say so. I do remember seeing another thread - someone building their own tank with glass sides and PVC bottom - not sure how that turned out, as I haven't been following the updates
