how can i bring my zoo's color back?
I've had my 24g ap for a year now and have collected quite a few zoo frags since. Some of them are doing fine but a lot of others have lost all their color and im not sure why. I keep up on water changes weekly 2 gal with IO reef crystals. I dont add any supplements either. I changed out my stock 2x32 pc's about 6 weeks ago. It seems like my greens are the only ones that have kept their color. I'm kinda hesitant to buy any new ones right now because of this. Any suggestions?

What are your water parameters? What lighting since you changed out your PC's ?

What kind of lights did you change to? I changed from PC's to T5's well over a month ago and some of my pallys are just now getting their color back.
Just keep your water in good shape and be patient, hopefully they will color back up. Also, were you using any type of actinic light with PC's and not with your new lighting system? This same phenomenon occurs when I buy frags that were under MH lights. It sometimes takes weeks for them to color up. |

Try the "Treating With Vitamin C" thread. Since adding, my colors are popping! You really need to add Alk & Ca (minimally), if you're using IO.
