may I axe a question tu?

May I? Might I, huh? Should I, can I, could I? Have I, had I?

Ge-ollly-hosphat, Discovery channel should axe whoever's doing their grammar check in the scripts! Every single ONE of them!!!!!

You never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never use 'may' after an -ed verb. "He answered that he may have done it...." AAAAAGH! Rolling on the floor in agony type aaaaagh! It's always might! Might! Might! if it's in the past.

If you aren't sure which to use, 'might' is always right, even in the present---maybe a little less sure than you MIGHT have used, but MIGHT MAKES IT RIGHT!

Thank you. sk8r feels all better now.

I hate "have a REAL nice day" - as opposed to a "FAKE nice day?" "Real" should be an adverb - add the darn LY and have a really nice day!
