Are all isopods bad?

Okay, so I am about 95% sure I just witnessed an isopod scurry out and mow through a piece of pellet food. I few days ago I also thought I saw one, but it all happened in a flash and I wasn't quite sure.

After hearing horror stories about what they can do to both fish and aquarists, I am naturally a little freaked out. So I was wondering.........is there a chance that everything will be okay? Or should I sound the alarm and start the hunt? So far I haven't seen any go after or damage any fish.

I should also mention that I recently added a Long Nose Hawkfish that I am hoping may take them out before there is a serious. My copepod population has also been booming.

Thanks in advance!

Most isopods are fine to have. Many fish think they're tasty. I wouldn't worry yet.
