Want 2 run a single 250w ROIII, what size tank?

I'm wanting to setup a frag tank to be lit by a single 250w de housed in a ROIII pendant. Per Sanjay's testing the ROIII does indeed throw a 24 by 24 inch spread while still retaining good par however, if I wanted to build a tank 12-15" high would I be able to get away with a 28 by 28" tank and run the pendant higher above the tank to get more spread?

Tank will house mainly SPS but will have LPS and softies.

Any thoughts?

should be ok if you place lower light corals on sides and at bottom, and keep sps high and centered

28" x 28" will be okay. You won't have any major issues.
