Negative Feedback.. Elmo18

Rude Individual..Was ready to spend money with him... He's selling Anemones, one of the Hardest Marine Creatures to Keep in Captivity..When asked if he could take 30min of out his day to meet me Somewhere around his area so i could pick up one of his Rose anems...His answer, plain and simple was..{NO, I will not be driving anywhere to Sell a Rose Anem"..."But i will Gladly ship it to you""... Pfft,, If i wanted an anem shipped to me I wouldn't bother trying to find one locally..Most of them don't make it through shipping even short distances...At any rate,This guy wouldn't even take a half hour out of his Precious day to Insure the Health of these Animals he is "Selling"...He would rather "Ship" an Anemone less than 200 miles and put it through the Stress of Handling/Shipping...And then to top it all off.. When i replied and told him my Opinion of his "Business" pratice, and that i would be Passing on his offer to ship it to me..His response was Irritating at best...

Re: Rose Anems
Sounds good.

Goodluck.

Best,
Ilham

This guy is a Complete Joker and i would NEVER do Business with a Person who would take a chance on the Life of a Marine Organism that is Basically Immortal in Nature.. When he Could take 30min to INSURE that its Delivered as Fast as Possible. and in The Best Health Possible...

Sorry to hear that...... I've known Elmo for a while and although I have never ordered from him, he has always been most helpful to me...

That's his choice. If you don't like the deal then turn it down, but I see absolutely no reason to bash him for his choice not to want to meet you in person. Hundreds of corals and many anemones are shipped everyday.

I don't see the problem being on his end. Your "opinion" of his way of doing business would have sealed the deal with me, also.

Oh my.

Someone actually posted bad feedback on me!

Maybe I should explain. For one, I don't have the time to drive down 100 miles to meet someone. Gas prices, etc. I work on weekdays, and on the weekends. I'd rather sell it 'locally' to Seattle folks, or ship from a Fedex office.

He seemed like I had all the time in the world. I am sorry, but I just cannot satisfy everyone.

Why would I not care about the welfare of my anemones? I probably shouldn't be selling them to you for sure Morph. I don't sell them to everyone Morph. Especially one who asks if a Rose Anemone is the same as a Rose Bubble tip anemone.

Now on the subject of posting PM's, I can do that to.

Here's one posted by Morphieus:

"Hi, Im down here in Vancouver Wa. and am Interested in your Anems...Question; When you say "True Rose Anems" are these the Same as a Rose Bubble Tip??.. Either way i would be interested in picking one up.Just wondering if my conditions/Lighting is correct to Sustain these anems....Thanks.. Bobby.."

People get nasty, I'll get nasty. Sorry for the words guys, but a lot of people know me here, and while time and experience doesn't mean everything, hopefully reputation does.

Best,
Ilham

First of all Nobody asked him to drive "100miles". Seattle=Olympia=30miles if that...Im not going to Respond to your Opinion of my knowledge of Nems...Even the way you Reply to this thread shows how Little of a person you must be... Your first response to my post is to try and attack me on a personal level...Enough Said....Have fun...
Ps... LMAO at you...

Is Olympia or Vancouver, WA really in my area?

Maybe someone can mapquest Seattle, WA to Vancouver, WA.

You're better off finding someone who really is "local", or go support your LFS. You can go take your ramblings to them.

Best,
Ilham
