Heart Attack!!!

Man, this morning I came out to feed my fish.. My prized wrasse was GONE
I looked and looked. Even started looking on floor
After about 2 hours.... (do a little) he just showed up...

Jason, He truly is a BEAUTIFUL fish.. Thank you for leading me to him... (I bought it, unseen)

This is why you need to keep an AED around. If you can't find the fish, just hit the tank a few times with a good shock.

Thanks, Charlie. What type of wrasse is it?

I'm contemplating making my final fish a wrasse (maybe a fairy wrasse, or flasher wrasse) after I score a pair of Benggai cardinals. Though I'm hesitant to add any "quick" fish to my peaceful community.

its an " Australian" leapord wrasse.. I Kept a leapord in my 180 and felt it was very colorful, but this one is super "sweet"
I also have a "twinspot" wrasse (very nice also)...
The 2 seem to be buddies...

either he sleeps upside down, or he's not doing well...
dog it...
His buddy is hovering over him, as if he's, saying come on and play!! or protecting him...
Man, I know its kinda silly, but, this hurts...

My royal gramma will sleep upside down in his hole in the LR. Though as soon as the lights come on he's totally alert.

Sorry, Josh, no tank anymore. No time or money to devote right now; maybe in a few years when I'm done with school, but not until then if at all. I am holding onto a few components; a couple pumps, my "DIY" calcium reactor---pretty similar to some german calcium reactors, with an aquabee 2000/1 non needlewheel pump and everything. I'm also keeping my battery backup system, with the hopes of eventually hooking it up to a solar panel on the roof; no time soon. I'm going to sell the 65g sometime soon; you'll see it on here when I refinish the cabinet. Surprising what a few years of spilled saltwater does to polyurethane.

Its a wrasse, its gonna hide, when at first you don't see him, drink a cup of coffe, take a shower drink another cup of coffee, then Breathe,

....
....
then look for him.
