Question Which 250W Bulb

I'm thinking of getting 250w MH SE 14K Bulbs - what brand of bulbs do you use and where did you buy them from?

I'm looking to get a more crisp blue'ish color, so no 10K's.

Thanks....

the par on the 12k reeflux bulbs is pretty low, I would go with a radium or hamilton 14k. If you have no suppliments i would go with the radium bulb to get the best colors.

What about the EVC 250w 14K SE bulb? it seems that it has a higher PAR reading that Radium 20K - per Sanjay's light comparison site.

the reeflux was designed to run on a elect ballast not a HQI
you were over powering it duh
if a bulb is a 250w se and you put it on a go HQI ballast it will run at 300+watt
you think sweet i got more light/par
but you just shortend the life and changed the color to a whiter
I do like the Radiums & Aquaconnect but they are $$$
